Abstract
A lighting deviceof the present invention includes a light source, an external power sourcearranged to supply drive power to the light source, and a relay connectorarranged to provide an electrical connection between the light sourceand the external power source. The relay connectorincludes a conductive resin layerand an insulating resin layerarranged on the periphery of the conductive resin layer. According to the construction, the conductive portion and the insulating portion of the relay connectorare both made of resin, and therefore can be formed by the same process, e.g., by two-shot molding. Further, the number of components can be reduced.
