Abstract
The invention relates to a compact light module (), that is eye-safe as far as possible, comprising an electrical power source (), a voltage converter () and a radiation source for electromagnetic radiation (), wherein a power limiter () is provided for controlling the emitted electromagnetic radiation. The invention also relates to a pocket tool, in particular a pocket knife () or board-like tool card () with a light module () for emitting electromagnetic radiation which is arranged in the housing () and can be operated by means of an activating element (), whereby the light module () is designed to emit monochromatic electromagnetic radiation with limited radiation output.
