Abstract

According to the present invention, a method of working material with high-energy radiation is provided, wherein a polymer matrix () is irradiated with high-energy radiation, in particular with a laser beam (), wherein the radiation is focused onto a focal point () and the focal point () is set such that the focal point () lies behind the surface () of the polymer matrix () facing the radiation, and material removal is brought about at the polymer matrix (), and consequently a reaction space () is created within the polymer matrix ().
