Abstract

The invention relates to reinforcing glass strands, the composition of which comprises the following constituents within the limits defined below expressed as percentages by weight: These strands are composed of a low-cost glass offering an excellent compromise between the mechanical properties represented by the tensile strength and the fiberizing conditions. The invention also relates to the composites based on organic and/or inorganic material(s) and the aforementioned glass strands.
