Abstract
An improved, multiple-use fireworks launcher () is provided for the launching of fireworks such as an artillery shell () having a lower lift charge () and an upper effect charge (). The launcher () includes a base (), with an upstanding, open-top launch tube () operably coupled with the base (). A reinforcing section () is positioned about the lower end of launch tube (), and preferably comprises a tubular sleeve () tightly secured to the outer surface () of launch tube (). The combined thickness of the tube () and section () are sufficient to prevent catastrophic failure of the launcher () in the event a shell () is improperly placed within the tube () in an inverted condition with the lift charge () thereof positioned over the effect charge ().
