Abstract
In order to maintain a high visual image quality and save power, a display device includes: R sub-pixels, G sub-pixels, B sub-pixels, and W sub-pixels; and a human detection sensor () for detecting whether or not a person is present within a predetermined range. A use rate of the W sub-pixels is changed depending on whether or not a person is present within the predetermined range.
