Abstract
Methods for the production of an intergeneric hybrid plants and plants produced thereby. In certain aspects, intergeneric hybrid plants are produced by crossing aparent plant comprising a mutantiap allele with a second moncot plant. Methods for the use of such plants and products obtained therefrom are also provided.
