Abstract

The present invention relates to a process for separating oxygen at high temperature by means of a material comprising at least one compound according to the formula ABOyHO with a lamellar structure composed of sheets generated by the sequence of octahedra connected to one another by the edges, whereby A is at least one of the elements IA or IIA of the periodic classification of elements, B is at least one of the elements IIIB to IIB of the periodic classification of the elements, 0<x≦2, 0≦y≦2, and −0.4≦δ≦0.4.
