Abstract
Provided are a housing () for a portable display device () having a holding section () located on one side to the center line of the housing () that is provided with a weight adjusting section which sets a weight of the holding section () side of the housing () heavier than a weight of that portion of the housing () which is opposite the holding section (), and whose weight is adjusted by at least one of methods of changing a type of a material for the housing (), a specific gravity of the material, a density thereof, and an amount used thereof, mixing a weight adjusting substance () in the material, and mounting a weight adjusting substance to the housing (), and a portable display device.
