Abstract

Aerosol therapy device comprising a nebuliser () for generating an aerosol and forming an aerosol flow, a first nosepiece () for introducing the aerosol flow into one of the two nostrils () of a user, a pressure fluctuation source for generating a pressure fluctuation (DS), a second nosepiece () for introducing the pressure fluctuation into the other of the two nostrils () of the user in order to superimpose the pressure fluctuation and the aerosol flow, and a sensor system comprising a first pressure sensor () for detecting the signal of the pressure fluctuation that arrives at the first nosepiece (), and an evaluation means () that concludes the degree of closure of the velum of the user based on the signal.
