Abstract
At a procedure for determining at least one misfiring cylinder () of a combustion engine () with an even number n of at least four cylinders (), whereby at least each cylinder () is assigned to its own angle segment of a work cycle of the combustion engine () and whereby uneven running values (luts) are determined for each cylinder (), the uneven running values (luts) are evaluated with regard to the fulfillment of a condition (), which is set depending on the length of the angle segment or a part or a multiple of it and which corresponds with a default misfiring pattern of the combustion engine ().
