Abstract
A housing () for an electronic device, includes at least a front part () and a back part () adapted to be assembled together, defining an internal volume () capable of receiving functional components of the device. At least one of the front () and/or back () parts contains at least one insert () produced from a first material, in particular sheet metal, integrated by overmoulding, into a frame () produced from a second material, in particular plastic material or injectable metal. The housing is applicable to the field of electronic devices, such as telephones, multimedia players/recorders, portable computers, 'tablet' type computers, external computer screens, television sets, etc.
