Abstract

A connector () formed by removing front and rear shaping dies in forward and backward directions. The connector () includes a housing (), a lock arm () provided displaceably relative to the outer surface of the housing () and adapted to hold a mating housing and the housing () in a connected state. Couplings () connect the lock arm () and the housing () and have front and rear curved surfaces (F,R). Front steps (F) extend continuously forward from the end edge (F) of the front curved surfaces (F) closer to the rear curved surfaces (R). Rear steps (R) extend continuously back from end edges of the rear curved surfaces (R) closer to the front curved surfaces (F). Pairs of curved portions (F,R) facing forward and back are provided at opposite ends of the curved surfaces (F,R) in directions crossing the curving directions.
