Abstract
Provided is an electroluminescent device which has a luminescent layer including quantum dots and which are excellent in life characteristics. An electroluminescent device () comprises a first electrode layer (), a luminescent layer () formed on the first electrode layer, and a second electrode layer () formed on the luminescent layer. The luminescent layer uses quantum dots (), each quantum dot being surrounded by silane coupling agent ().
