Abstract

A medical container () includes a bag-like container body () made up of two flexible sheets (). At least one of a pair of long-side sealed areas (La,Lb) formed by the two sheets being bonded together is provided with a sealed protruding portion () protruding toward the other long-side sealed area such that the spacing between the pair of long-side sealed areas is locally narrowed. A crease () passing through the sealed protruding portion is formed in the sheets when a liquid substance has been injected into the container body in a volume greater than or equal to 10% of a defined volume of the container body and the medical container is hung. Accordingly, it is possible to know the exact amount of a liquid substance in the container by using a scale provided on the sheets constituting the container even if a crease is formed in the sheets due to the liquid substance being in the container.
