Abstract
Provided is a terminal fitting capable of reliably press-bonding a core wire made of aluminum or aluminum alloy. A terminal fittingis made of copper or copper alloy and includes: a bottom wallwhich is overlapped with a core wiremade of aluminum or aluminum alloy; and a pair of crimping pieceswhich is upright from each corresponding end portion of the bottom walland is bent inward so that a front endfaces the bottom walland the pair of crimping pieces is press-bonded to the core wire. The pair of crimping piecesis bent so that outer surfacesare tightly overlapped with each other, and has a pair of intermeshing portionsrespectively formed in the outer surfacesin the length direction of the core wireto mesh with each other.
