Abstract
A needlefor penetrating a membrane, having a pointed endprovided with a penetrating tipand with an openingfor letting a liquid in and/or out in a main directionwhich is substantially parallel to the longitudinal extension of the needle. The penetrating tipis designed with a substantially point-shaped edgeto initially prick the membrane when the membrane is penetrated. The outer edgespresent on the pointed endin the area from the point-shaped edgeto a position beyond the openingare rounded so that after the initial penetration the pointed endwill push the membrane material away rather than cutting the membrane material.
