Abstract
An optical head () transmits a light beam to an optical disc (), in which light-transmitting layers largely change in thickness, and includes a degree-of-diversion/convergence enlarging member () fixed between a collimating lens () and an objective lens (). The diversion/convergence enlarging member () reduces a moving range of the collimating lens (), and allows the optical head () to be miniaturized.
