Abstract
A golf head club has a high moment of inertia and thus produces a pleasing hitting sound. A metallic golf club headhaving a hollow space therein includes a face memberprovided with a face part, and a body memberprovided with a sole part, a crown part, a side part, and ribs. The hollow space is defined by the inner surfaces of the face part, the sole part, the crown part, and the side part, and the wall surfaces of the ribs. The ribsextend from the inner surface of the sole partto the inner surface of the crown part, and the body memberis molded integrally by casting.
