Abstract
A generator including a generator frame (, FIG.), frame rings () extending from an inside surface of the frame (), stacked laminations forming a stator core () disposed within the generator frame (), a spring bar (, FIG.) spanning a distance between at least two frame rings (), a first spring bar end attached to a first frame ring () and a second opposing spring bar end attached to a second frame ring (), at least one bracket () attached to the spring bar (); and a first and a second keybar () attached to the bracket (), each keybar () for engaging a corresponding groove within the stator core ().
