To extract and detectDNA without isolatingfrom a piece of wood taken from a tree belonging to the genusand the like, provided are a method for extractingDNA from a collected piece of wood that includes, a LAMP primer set including primers that anneal to a specific region ofDNA, and a method for detectingfrom a piece of wood by amplifying a DNA by a LAMP method using this primer set.
