Abstract
An apparatus () for determining the adhesive strength of materials has a test rig () with a base plate (). A compression plate () is provided above a support (). The compression plate () is urged into engagement with the support () by means of springs (). The compression plate () has a recess () which receives a mould (). The support () contains a substrate () which engages with material to be tested contained in the mould ().
