Abstract

An inexpensive piezoelectric sensor where noise unlikely occurs and a method for manufacturing the same are provided. A piezoelectric body () made of polymeric material, a first electrode-supporting portion () disposed at one side of the piezoelectric body () and supporting a signal electrode () on a first insulator (), and a second electrode-supporting portion () disposed at the other side of the piezoelectric body () and supporting a ground electrode () on a second insulator () are included, and the first electrode-supporting portion () and the second electrode-supporting portion () are arranged so that the signal electrode () and the ground electrode () overlap each other in a layering direction.
