Abstract

A cloth dryer includes heat-pump (), rotary tub () for accommodating clothes () to be dried, blower () for supplying air heated by heat radiator () to rotary tub (), and heat-exchange air flow paths () for circulating the air stayed in rotary tub () through heat radiator () via heat absorber (). Fins striding over heat absorber () and heat radiator () allow integrating absorber () and radiator () into one body which can be thus placed within air-flow paths (). Heat-transfer reducing section () is formed on the fins between heat absorber () and heat radiator () for reducing the heat transfer via the fins between heat absorber () and heat radiator (). The foregoing structure can prevent frost and ice produced on heat absorber () from growing, so that a compact cloth dryer excellent in drying performance is obtainable.
