Abstract

The calibration deviceis set up in a machine tooland provides: a image capture subject materialhaving a calibration patternthat includes one feature point and being attached to the spindle, two-dimensional coordinate calculation partsthat calculate the two-dimensional coordinates of feature points based on the two-dimensional image data that is created from the images of the calibration patternthat were captured at multiple movement positions of the spindleby the CCD camera; a three-dimensional coordinate calculation partthat calculates the three-dimensional coordinates of the feature points that correspond to each movement position of the spindle; and a parameter calculation partthat calculates the intrinsic parameters and extrinsic parameters of the CCD camerabased on the two-dimensional coordinates and three-dimensional coordinates at each movement position of the spindle
