Abstract

An optical information recording method includes emitting light having a wavelength λfrom a first light source with a pulse width of time twor more and power P, emitting light having a wavelength λfrom a second light source with a pulse width of time tw, a repetition interval T, and power P, and performing information recording by simultaneously irradiating an identical part of a recording medium with the light from the first light source and the light from the second light source, in which the wavelength λand the wavelength λsatisfy λ>500 nm>λand λwhich is expressed as 1/λ+1/λ=1/λsatisfies a relationship of λ<300 nm, and emission of the first light source and emission of the second light source satisfy relationships of tw<tw, T<tw, and P>P
