Abstract

An operating device comprises a transmitter arrangement () and a receiver arrangement (), which may be moved longitudinally, transversally and vertically with relation to the transmitter arrangement () and by means of which different signals can be generated depending on the position of the transmitter arrangement (). According to the invention, said operating device may be provided with additional functionality with a construction of the minimum technical complexity, wherein the transmitter arrangement () may be rotated in relation to the receiver arrangement () and is designed such that, at differing rotational angles, signals corresponding to the given rotational angle may be generated in the receiver device ().
