Abstract

This invention provides an efficient process for in vitro propagation ofthrough direct regeneration of leaf disc without any intermediary callus phase. This process provides a commercially viable process for producing true-to-type plants ofon a large scale and also as a method to produce transgenics through-mediated transformation.
