Abstract
The present invention relates to a compressor, wherein a rotary shafthaving a swash platecoupled thereto is used to linearly reciprocate a pistonin a cylinder boreformed in front and rear cylinder blocksand'. The rotary shafthas a flow channelformed therein and inletsformed to communicate with the flow channel. A hubis formed in the swash plate, and a shaft hole, through which the rotary shaftpasses, is formed in the center of the hub. Communication holesare formed in the hubto communicate with the inletsof the flow channel. First racesare coupled to the hub. A rotary shaft holeis formed in the first race, which has a thickness greater in its outer peripheral portion than its inner peripheral portion. According to the present invention configured as above, the communication holesare concavely formed in surfaces where inlets of the shaft holeof the hubare provided, so that the communication holescan be formed together with the hub. Thus, there is an advantage in that the compressor can be easily manufactured. Also, the first racehas a thickness greater in its outer peripheral portion than its inner peripheral portion. Accordingly, there is an effect in that the strength of the first racecan be reinforced while keeping its damping effect, thereby improving durability of the swash plate type compressor.
