Abstract

The invention relates to a winder () for winding strips (), in particular thin metal strips, comprising a coiler drum () which is arranged such that it can rotate about a rotational axis (), and at least one pivoting arm () which is arranged such that it can pivot about an axis () and which has at least one deflection plate () and at least one pressure roller (), which deflect and press the strip () which is to be wound. In order to improve, in particular, the winding of thin strips, the invention provides for the at least one pressure roller () to be assigned at least one movement means (), by way of which the pressure roller () can be moved relative to the pivoting arm ().
