Abstract
A vibration damper comprises a first platethat is fixed to one framework member, a second platethat is fixed to another framework member, and an elastic materialthat is filled in the interstices between the first plateand the second plate. A first clearance Wis formed between the another framework memberand a first fixing portion, and a second clearance Wis formed between the first framework memberand a second fixing portion. The first plateis made of a steel plate that is formed directing from the first fixing portionto the second fixing portion, and the second plateis made of a steel plate that is formed directing from the second fixing portionto the first fixing portion. A space portionconstituted by the first clearance W, the second clearance W, the first plate, and the second platehas a dimension which is at least sufficient for insertion of a joisttherein.
