Abstract
An information processing device () (game device) sequentially measures the distance between a display () and a controller (). When the distance is equal to or smaller than an alerting distance, the information processing device determines that a player operating the controller () has come too close to the display (), and suspends the progress of a game. After this, when the distance becomes equal to or larger than a release distance, the information processing device () determines that the player has gone sufficiently away from the display () and resumes the progress of the game. At this time, the information processing device () resumes the progress of the game by rewinding the progress by a certain stretch of time so that the player can easily continue the suspended game.
