Abstract

A vehicle () starts from the front of a home () and moves to a destination (). An area (area) with the home () at the center is an area where the position of the home () is estimated to be easily specified, and a road () to be searched is a road required for searching a moving route of the vehicle (). An in-vehicle device () does not transmit position information or the like acquired in the area (area) in response to a request of position information from a road side device (). The in-vehicle device () transmits the position information or the like on the vehicle () acquired after the vehicle () moves out of the area (area) to the road side device (). The position information on the vehicle is transmitted to the road side device by protecting personal information.
