A portable terminal device able to suppress a feeling of strangeness caused by audio not desired by a user is provided. A mobile phonehas an audio output portionoutputting an audio signal, and can make a speakerarranged in a cradle deviceoutput audio in accordance with the audio signal therefrom by outputting the audio signal from the audio processing portionto the cradle devicewhen it is connected to the connectable cradle device.
