Abstract

A method of heating a used absorption liquid resulting from a carbon dioxide absorption stage in which a COcomprising gas stream is contacted with an absorption liquid comprising ammonia, wherein the used absorption liquid is subjected to heat exchange, in a heat exchanger, with a fluid of a desulfurization stage in which a SOcomprising flue gas is contacted with a reagent composition comprising an alkaline compound.
