Abstract
A system for continuously metering and transporting a powder comprises means (-) for fluidizing (F) the powder in a closed reservoir (), a tube () dipping into the fluidized powder (L) and discharging (B) to the outside of the reservoir (), and means (S, C) for pressurizing the reservoir. The system further comprises supply means (C) for continuously supplying pressurizing gas from the reservoir () to a chamber (V) for mixing the gas with fluidized powder leaving the tube (), said supply means (C) being equipped with or constituting a constriction (R) to the flow of the pressurizing gas. A hose () for transporting the powder mixed with the pressurizing gas is connected to the downstream end of the mixing chamber (V).
