Abstract
In the area of manufacturing peel-off lids () out of lid rings with a peel-off foil () sealed on it, a part of the sealing surface () is bent up in the direction of the lid edge in order to tension the sealing surface with the peel-off foil. A clamping tool () is provided in order to clamp the sealing surface with the peel-off foil and a pressing tool () in order to bend up the unclamped sealing surface section (').
