Abstract
A fuel injector () has a housing () with a central longitudinal axis (L) having a fluid inlet portion () being adapted to be coupled to a fuel rail at a first axial end area (). The housing () has a recess () and enables a fluid flow through a fluid outlet portion () at a second axial end area () facing away from the first axial end area (). The fluid inlet portion () communicates with the fluid outlet portion () via the recess ().
