Abstract
A holding device () for a tool, e.g., a textile marker (), for the processing of a textile or non-textile sheet material () is attached to the presser foot bar () of a sewing machine (). The tool is supported by a tool holder () so that it can move on a base part () of the holding device () and can be changed in its position or activation through movements of the needle bar () of the sewing machine ().
