Abstract
A device for an electromechanical hoisting machine () with driving gears () in engagement with rack rails () fixed to a steel structure (). The hoisting machine is driven by electromotors () which transmit torque to the driving gears () through the gearing (), the shaft () and further the bevel gear drives () and gears () to the driving gears () in engagement with rack rails (). To achieve flexible load distribution on the driving gears (), differential gears () supported on projecting shaft journals () connected to the main shaft () are arranged between the bevel gear drives ().
