Abstract
Some embodiments of the present invention provide a system that facilitates interaction with a user of a computing device. During operation, the system obtains user input from the user through a user interface of the computing device. Next, the system updates, based on the user input, a dynamic cursor area proximate to a cursor in the user interface to provide functionality-based feedback to the user at a location where the user is likely to be looking.
