Abstract
A device () for the handling of containers with a mandrel (), the cross-section of which is adjusted to the cross-section of one of the containers to be handled, whereby the mandrel () is displaceable, relative to the support device (), along a direction of movement (L) between a resting position and a working position. The device has a spacing element () which is displaceable relative to the mandrel () in a direction of displacement (R) between at least two positions, whereby the direction of displacement (R) and the direction of movement form an angle with one another that differs by 0°, and whereby this spacing element is constructed in such a manner that the working position of the mandrel () in the direction of movement (L) is changed through a shifting of the spacing element.
