Abstract
The present invention is directed to a series of alkyl quaternium silicone compounds having both alkyl groups and fatty quaternary nitrogen groups attached in one molecule, and the intermediates formed during the production thereof, that are suitable for use in personal care and other applications. These compounds by virtue of their unique structure provide outstanding micro-emulsions and provide outstanding hair conditioning. The compounds of the present invention are represented by Formula 1: wherein, or
