Abstract
A wet paper web transfer beltcomprises a wet paper web side layerhaving hydrophilic fibersand a machine side layer. The machine side layeris a batt layer having a core-sheath conjugate fiber comprising a core member made of nylon with a high melting point and a sheath member made of nylon with a lower melting point than the core member, and said machine side layer has a fused layer of the sheath member on the surface thereof.
