Abstract
In the case of a plain bearing having at least one support part (), which is composed of an iron-containing base material, of a bearing sleeve () which is provided at the raceway side with a coating () which is composed of a coating material, is formed as a melted-on layer and is metallurgically connected to the base material by an FeSn-containing connecting zone (), it is possible to obtain a long service life in that the thickness for the FeSn-containing connecting zone () is at most 10 μm.
