Abstract
Heuristic based feature degradation and/or restoration is disclosed. In some embodiments, a feature is provided with respect to a set of spreadsheet cells. The feature consumes processing power. If a degradation threshold associated providing the feature is satisfied, the feature is at least partially degraded so that an expected latency of providing the feature is at least in part avoided. If a restoration threshold associated with providing the feature is satisfied, the feature is at least partially restored for the set of cells.
