A battery outer labelincluding a heat-shrinkable resin film such as of polyethylene terephthalate as a base material, a printing layerand a protective layerformed on a front surface of the base material, and a vapor-deposited metal layerand an adhesive layerformed on a back surface of the base material, wherein the battery outer labelhas a water vapor permeability in the range of 14 to 30 g/m·24 h.
