Abstract
β-(1-6)-Glucanese treatment of glucan from yeast cells, pure or feed grade, especially yeast from the familyand particularly, provides a novel glucan product suitable for use in enhancing the stimulation of host animal immune systems. Solubilization of such yeast cell glucan is further disclosed to extend the usefulness of yeast cell glucan as an adjuvant.
