Abstract
Provided is a motion guide device having a low rigidity in the vertical direction and a low rigidity in the horizontal direction. The motion guide device has: a raceway railhaving a bottom surface, side surfacesand an upper surfaceand being mounted on one of a baseand a moving body; and a moving blockhaving a center portionfacing the upper surfaceof the raceway railand side wall portionsfacing the side surfacesof the raceway railand being mounted linearly or curvilinearly movable relative to the raceway rail. On a side surface of the moving block, a displacement absorbing mechanismis provided. The displacement absorbing mechanismhas a mounting membermounted on an opposite one of the baseand the moving body, and a displacement absorbing portionwhich is fixed to the mounting memberand which is shear-deformed when the mounting memberis displaced in a direction crossing an upper surface of the moving block
