Abstract
A proxy servertransfers, when a protocol header and content specified in a distribution request from a clientare not stored in a storage device, the distribution request to an origin server; stores the protocol header and content, which have been transmitted from the origin server, in the storage device; transmits the protocol header and content to the client; creates another protocol header based on the protocol header transmitted from the origin server; and stores the created protocol header in the storage device. When the protocol header and content specified in the distribution request from the clienthave been stored in the storage device, the proxy serverextracts the protocol header and content from the storage deviceand distributes them to the client
